Jim Allen has 25 years of real estate experience in the Roanoke Valley. He and Marge, his wife of 34 years, helped several friends with out-of-town relatives dispense of their belongings, ready their residences for sale, and were able to recommend realtors, repairmen, ebay sellers, automotive salespersons and much more. Seeing the need in these friends (and many of their friends) instilled in Jim and Marge the desire to help others going through similar situations, and thus Total Peace of Mind was born. Kent Cartner has joined TOTAL PEACE OF MIND as Director of Marketing. Kent and his wife, Kathleen have been residents of the Roanoke Valley since 1980.Kent earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agri Business from South Dakota State University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston University. Kent was an Armor Officer in the U. S. Army and served as an Armor Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Brigade Staff S-3, and General Staff Officer. He attended several military courses including Armor Officer Basic, US Air Force Forward Air Control School, U.S. Army Airborne School, and U. S. Army Ranger School. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. After his discharge, Kent accepted a position in retail sales with Procter & Gamble. During his 30 year career, Kent held various Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Operations, and Shoppers Based Design positions.
